What inspired you to ride?
I certainly wouldn't be doing this today if it weren't for my brother, Curtis. He started riding and racing about two years before I did and I couldn't just watch from the sidelines.
Racing obstacle you overcame?
School is an ongoing obstacle. It's not easy balancing the two, but it is so worth it! It comes down to having a good relationship with my teachers and communicating frequently while I'm traveling. I have been really lucky with their support so far.
Favorite cheat meal?
I cheat with Chocolate croissants from Starbucks.
Favorite healthy meal or snack?
I'm a sucker for the easy, go-to egg sandwich in the mornings! I make them with an English muffin, runny yoke, some Swiss cheese, Grey Poupon mustard, spinach and ham.
Tip for staying healthy?
Staying positive goes a long way with being healthy. Finding things that make you happy relieve stress and make your life that much better. Riding a bike is great place to start.
